Janelle is, simply put, a one-sidely nice person. She's gentle and heart warming person as a friend, and a person who you can trust. She's also the type to support you, while also doing her best. Her motto being: "If you want to be the best version of you, you have to beat the best version of me."

But of course, there's no such thing as a person with no flaws. Jan dislikes showing her flaws, and mostly covers them up. Two of her main flaws being her pride and crybaby-esque nature, both of which she only seems to keep to herself. This then leads to another flaw of her; being distant, and to an extent dishonest: refusing to show her flaws, feigning her appearance to others, and overall, just hiding herself. She also seems to be prone to envy (and perhaps jealousy) depending on the situation.

Background ::
Janelle was born in Manila, Philippines with two parents and one older sister named, Sophia Anne P. Guinto. As she grew up, Janelle and Sophia were close, with Sophia having to look after her little sister. Due to their father's fondness of sports, both sisters engaged in sports as well; with Janelle finding a fancy towarrds skating, which then moved on to ice skating, and Sophia focused on tennis, but eventually grew out of the sport after her high school graduation.

Perhaps what caused Janelle to continue ice skating was her crush on a young boy she met as a kid, he who was the son of one the couches in the rink. The Philippines is a tropical country, so the only way anyone could ice skate there is to use the artificial rinks within malls. Janelle and the young boy named Gabe grew to be close friends, and eventually Sophia became a member of their little group.

It would only be in high school that she would start to worry about her future; with her final decision being to move to the U.S. to train professionally.
